The use of
high performance press Wood chip machine is becoming increasingly widespread, so how should we choose the steel material for the wood chip machine blades during use? The editor will introduce some of its materials and how to choose them.
1. Alloy tool steel
Usually 9CrSi is used. This wood chip cutting tool has high hardness and good wear resistance, but it is fragile. Suitable for soft waste materials such as rubber, fiber, and paper.
2. Cold working mold steel
Commonly used Cr12MoV and SKD-11. These two types of wood chip machine blade materials have similar properties, such as strong wear resistance and impact resistance. Suitable for tearing wood, waste furniture, and high hardness plastics.
3. High strength wear-resistant steel
OX500 and other high-strength wear-resistant steel. These materials have high wear resistance, impact resistance, and processing performance, making them suitable for the blades of wood cutting machines that process various materials.
The blade of the wood chip machine will wear out during normal use. When the blade wears out to a certain extent, it needs to be repaired or replaced in a timely manner. Otherwise, it will not only affect production and crushing efficiency, but also affect the normal operation of the equipment.
